Temporary Woodworker – PS Comet Project (4 Weeks)
We’re looking for an experienced woodworker/joiner to support the final build phase of a full‑scale replica of the PS Comet. This is a short‑term role for the next 4 weeks, helping push the project through to completion.
The Role
- You’ll be working alongside our existing joiner, assisting with fabrication and assembly of timber components.
- The work is hands‑on and fast‑paced, with a focus on getting high‑quality results over the line.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with general woodwork and joinery tasks
- Working from drawings (not always fully detailed – some interpretation required)
- Supporting assembly and install of large timber structures
- Keeping pace with a tight production schedule
What We’re Looking For
- Solid woodworking/joinery experience
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Comfortable working from drawings and using initiative
- Reliable and able to slot straight into an active workshop
