Overview
We are looking for a full time warehouse operative within the Heathrow area for a freight forwarder specialising in pharmaceuticals. Currently located at Ashford with a relocation to a new state‑of‑the‑art premises in the summer, within 2 miles of the current location.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading from vehicles and containers
- Storing pallets in narrow aisle racking
- Receiving handling and delivery of stock in strict accordance with our pharmaceutical standard operating procedures
- Picking and packing pharmaceutical dispatches and rechecking dispatches packed by others
- General warehouse duties including maintaining a cleaning schedule
- Handling and conditioning of specialist packaging
Qualifications
- Current UK issued fork truck certification and previous warehouse experience
- All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and have a complete 5‑year checkable work history with no gaps greater than 28 days
- Previous experience in GDP pharmaceutical warehouse
- Flexi or Bendi certification
- Driving licence with car
- Dangerous goods awareness / training
Hours: 0900‑1800 Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
