The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing, and managing an account base to achieve corporate revenue goals. The role involves developing and executing a field sales business plan, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business across core competencies.
  • Identify, initiate, and engage with clients to create profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales quota and budget.
  • Collaborate with local, regional and international operations staff to meet customer needs.
  • Present a range of logistics solutions to enter new accounts.
  • Conduct sales and negotiation meetings; prepare offers and calculations.
  • Process customer correspondence and prepare supporting documents.
  • Plan, organize, and execute customer visits.
  • Maintain CRM data and coordinate cross‑department communication.
  • Lead regular review meetings and ensure communication between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Completed further training as a forwarding specialist (preferred).
  • 5+ years relevant B2B sales experience in the supply chain industry.
