As one of the UK's leading suppliers of nationwide 2 and 1 person Assisted ‘White Glove' Home Delivery Services, we are always on the lookout for fantastic people to join our expanding friendly teams. We are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join our friendly and rapidly growing team.
We are seeking a hardworking, punctual and reliable individual who has a keen eye for detail, enjoys problem solving, and can take ownership of stock accuracy within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work, have a strong work ethic, and a desire to consistently improve processes and performance. Role:- Maintain high levels of stock accuracy across all client accounts within the warehouse
- Conduct regular cycle counts, audits and stock checks across all locations
- Investigate stock discrepancies, pick errors and stock queries in a timely manner
- Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Work closely with warehouse teams to improve processes and overall performance
- Utilise WMS systems (Mintsoft) to manage and report on stock data effectively
- Support warehouse optimisation, improving stock locations, picking efficiency and workflow
- Assist with repicks, rebooking and stock corrections where required
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
Successful candidates will be highly organised, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will also have the following skills and attributes:
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in stock control or inventory management (warehouse/3PL preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to investigate issues and work with data to identify trends
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Confident communicator and team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manual and physical environment
- Willing to undertake manual handling and work at height (training provided)
- Experience using WMS systems (Mintsoft desirable)
