The Red Team conducts cutting-edge research to identify, evaluate and stress test vulnerabilities in frontier AI systems, sharing our findings directly with leading AI companies, UK officials and allied governments. Our work shapes how the most powerful AI systems are deployed.

The Delivery function is what makes scaling our impact possible. As we grow, world-class research is necessary but not sufficient: our impact depends on getting insights in front of the right people, running commercial partnerships that multiply our capacity, hiring exceptional people fast, and building operations that work as the team grows. Delivery owns all of this: it's a small, high-leverage function and we're hiring someone to build and run much of it.

Role Description

As a Delivery Advisor on the Red Team, you will own several operational domains end-to-end and shape how the team runs as it grows. This is a high-agency role: you will be trusted to run whole workstreams with minimal oversight, hold relationships with external partners directly, and be a founding builder of a function we're deliberately keeping small and high-leverage.

What you’ll work on

• Own commercial delivery end-to-end.
• Own the Red Team's engagement process.
• Run team operations.
• Support research delivery on the 'last mile'.
• Build people operations.

As a member of AISI's Red Team, you would accelerate progress on frontier AI safety by owning projects such as:

• Lead a No.10 presentation end-to-end.
• Drive our national security mobilisation.
• Take full ownership of our external commercial budget.
• Build the engine that scales the team.
• Keep the team's operating rhythm tight.

Person Specification

We are not looking for a particular CV - people do well in Delivery roles from a wide range of backgrounds. You likely have a couple of years in a fast-paced environment - consulting, a startup, or similar - where you've owned things end-to-end, built from scratch, or taken on more responsibility quickly. What matters most is a set of aptitudes:
