About The Company
Carriera is thrilled to partner with one of the UK's leading property and construction consultancies, who are expanding their H&S/CDM team in Newcastle. Following recent project wins and ongoing growth, the business is seeking an experienced Senior CDM/H&S Consultant to lead a variety of construction-related schemes across the North East. The company manages a diverse national portfolio, including residential, commercial, retail, infrastructure, hotel, sport, transportation, energy, aviation, leisure, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive H&S professional to join a forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary consultancy during an exciting period of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of health & safety services to clients.
- Manage H&S files, design risk registers, review construction phase plans, and maintain pre-construction information.
- Attend client and design team meetings, providing expert risk-based advice.
- Act as a CDM Advisor to clients.
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, both new and existing.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the property & construction sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Consultancy experience preferred, with a desire to take a hands-on role in developing a CDM/H&S division.
