About The Company: Carriera is delighted to partner with an independent, award-winning property and construction consultancy based in Southeast London. Established over 40 years ago, the firm employs over 200 construction professionals offering services including building surveying, project management, cost management, architecture, and H&S/CDM across the built environment. Following the recent launch of their dedicated CDM/H&S department, the business is seeking two experienced H&S/CDM Advisors to support a diverse portfolio of projects spanning residential (public sector), education, healthcare, commercial, regeneration, and local authority sectors across London and the Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious H&S professional to join a respected consultancy during a period of growth. The role is ideal for those with consultancy experience providing CDM 2015 advice, or for H&S professionals from a contractor background looking to transition into consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of H&S services to clients across the built environment.
- Manage H&S files, review construction phase plans, maintain pre-construction information, and conduct design risk reviews.
- Attend client and design team meetings to provide risk-related advice.
- Act as a CDM Advisor to clients, ensuring all project RAMS are in place.
- Carry out site safety inspections and audits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
- Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of CDM 2015 regulations and associated documentation.
- Minimum 2 years' H&S experience within the property & construction sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
