A well‑established and growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Partner to join its Gloucester team. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Project Manager seeking greater influence, responsibility and the chance to help shape the strategic direction of a regional office. The business has delivered consistent growth over the past decade and has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality, sustainable projects across a variety of sectors. Role Overview
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Lead and develop the Project Management service
- Deliver high‑quality consultancy services across both pre‑ and post‑contract stages
- Manage projects across a range of sectors
- Oversee programmes, material movement and strategic land projects for housing developers
- Act as a key client contact, managing multiple stakeholders
- Administer contracts including NEC, JCT and ICC
- Ensure projects are delivered to time, budget, quality and compliance standards
- Identify and mitigate risk proactively
- Oversee budgets, cost control and value optimisation
- Use project planning tools such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project
- Contribute to business development and growth within the local market
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Requirements
- Proven experience within a construction consultancy or client‑side environment
- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience delivering residential or developer‑led schemes
- Background in programme management and strategic land projects
- Chartered status (MCIOB, MRICS, APM or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience operating at a senior Project Management level
- Commercial awareness and ambition to progress at Associate/Partner level
