We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day HR operations at our Skelmersdale facility.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced or aspiring HR generalist to develop and progress their career by gaining exposure to a variety of HR duties in a growing global business.
What will you do as our HR Coordinator?
- Liaising with managers on recruitment activities, including drafting adverts and job descriptions, arranging interviews, and liaising with recruitment agencies.
- Coordinating the onboarding process, including producing offer letters, contracts, performing right-to-work checks, and conducting inductions for new starters.
- Completing all administrative HR processes efficiently, including scanning and filing employee documentation.
- Supporting employee relations projects such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and training initiatives.
- Assisting with long-term absence cases, organizing occupational health referrals, and managing return-to-work arrangements.
- Using and maintaining the HRIS (Iris Cascade), including data input, workflow management, report generation, and data analysis.
- Supporting HR projects in collaboration with senior HR team members.
- Assisting with company benefits administration.
- Liaising with the payroll team to ensure timely processing of payroll changes and inquiries.
What are we looking for in our HR Coordinator?
- Previous HR generalist experience or similar, preferably in the private sector.
- Enthusiasm for HR and a flexible attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Willingness to travel to other company locations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
