Role Description
This is a full-time Commercial Specialist role based in London with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office presence with some work from home. The Commercial Specialist will support the end-to-end commercial cycle by preparing quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial offers for network connectivity and ICT services. The role involves working closely with sales and account management teams to respond to partner and customer inquiries, gather requirements, and ensure accurate and timely bid submissions. The Commercial Specialist will liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders for purchasing activities, cost analysis, and margin optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining commercial records, updating CRM and internal systems, tracking orders, monitoring contract terms, and providing ongoing commercial support to ensure a smooth delivery and post-sales experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and manage stakeholder expectations clearly and respectfully.
- Proven experience in Sales and Account Management, ideally within telecommunications, ICT, or related technology sectors.
- Background in Purchasing or procurement activities, including vendor coordination, cost comparison, and negotiation support.
- Comfort working with commercial data, pricing models, and basic financial concepts such as margins and discounts.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, document management).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating with cross-functional teams both in-person and remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a wholesale, channel, or B2B environment and familiarity with connectivity, SD-WAN, and ICT services.
