Senior Manager, Global Quality Assurance (AML/KYC/TM/Fraud Risk)

b Overview /b p As Head of Global Quality Assurance, you will lead a worldwide QA function ensuring Airwallex meets regulatory and risk standards through a data‑driven QA framework. You will manage cross‑functional collaboration with Compliance, Risk, Product and Operations to embed strong controls across the customer lifecycle. You will design and enhance QA programs, drive remediation outcomes, and provide actionable insights to leadership. This role offers impact at scale within a fast‑growing fintech, shaping operational governance and risk management. You will work with diverse teams to advance a culture of compliance and quality. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead a global QA team with domain-specific experts (KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Name Screening, Underwriting, Merchant Risk Monitoring, etc). /li li Design and maintain a comprehensive QA framework covering compliance, risk controls and customer-supporting functions. /li li Oversee monthly QA testing, ensuring productivity and high-quality deliverables. /li li Identify operational risks and gaps, determine root causes and propose remediations and enhancements. /li li Communicate QA outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership, tracking remedial actions to closure. /li li Support global projects with data-driven analytics to inform decision‑making /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 8+ years of relevant experience in financial services, fintech or consulting /li li Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and risk management controls /li li Familiarity with AML processes (KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Name Screening) or risk controls (Underwriting, Merchant Risk Monitoring) /li li Excellent communication and project management skills /li li Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li time and project management /li li analytical thinking /li li SQL /li li Looker /li li AML/KYC processes /li /ul
