Account Executive

b Overview /b p In this role you will join Airwallex’s SME team to accelerate new business with fast-growth eCommerce, SaaS, and Professional Services customers. You help prospects understand how Airwallex’s unified payments, treasury, and embedded finance platform can remove bottlenecks and enable international growth. You work closely with product, marketing, and implementation teams to shape a compelling ROI case and drive rapid customer adoption. This is a growth-focused, high-impact role in a mission-driven fintech that combines infrastructure, software, and AI to streamline how companies get paid and manage finances. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Pipeline and new business generation across target verticals /li li Territory planning and prioritisation of accounts and channels /li li Owning outbound strategy and developing new outreach angles /li li Running a structured sales process to uncover priorities and build ROI cases /li li Forecasting using MEDDPICC to manage deal progress and gaps /li li Cross-functional collaboration with implementation, product, and marketing /li li Coordinate implementation and handover to ensure quick customer adoption /li li Provide customer insights to product and influence roadmap priorities /li li Support ABM campaigns, competitive positioning, and customer case studies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 3+ years of B2B software or fintech sales experience /li li At least 1 year in an outbound closing role /li li If 2+ years in outbound lead generation with upskilling towards closing, explain progression /li /ul ul li Curious /li li Perceptive /li li Driven /li li MEDDPICC forecasting /li li ABM campaigns /li li outbound sales process /li /ul
