As our Finance Analyst (Reporting), you'll be part of the Commercial Finance team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Head of Commercial Finance Group. You'll be right at the heart of fast-moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
The Finance Analyst (Reporting) plays a critical role in enabling effective commercial decision-making through accurate, timely and consistent performance reporting. Sitting within Group Commercial Finance, the role is responsible for producing and maintaining core reporting packs, dashboards and KPI performance views used across leadership, markets and functional teams. The role ensures that commercial performance is clearly understood across channels, markets and categories, providing a trusted single version of the truth. By maintaining strong data discipline and continuously improving reporting quality, the Finance Analyst (Reporting) enables leaders to focus on insight, trade-offs and actions rather than data reconciliation.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Produce and maintain standardised commercial performance reporting across channels, markets and categories, including weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packs.
- Track and analyse key financial and commercial KPIs (revenue, margin, profitability), providing insight into performance drivers, variances and trends.
- Ensure data integrity and governance, partnering with FP&A, Data and Technology teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance data quality.
- Support consolidation and presentation of results for business reviews, leadership forums and planning cycles, including ad-hoc analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, dashboards and tools, driving automation, consistency and enhanced insight generation.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Strong financial analysis and reporting experience, ideally within a commercial or retail environment, with a solid understanding of key financial and performance KPIs.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience using dashboards, BI tools or reporting systems to manage and interpret large data sets with high accuracy.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines.
- Structured and logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborative and effective communicator, able to partner across finance, data and commercial teams and clearly explain insights and variances.
