The Opportunity
- We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for:
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all financial reporting.
- Working with auditors on statutory accounts.
- Provide analysis on financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Prepare management reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate rolling forecasts to reflect business performance and market conditions.
- Prepares bi-weekly cashflow and understand the role of cash.
- Prepares weekly Outturn with commentary on current performance and trends.
- Leading all payroll, VAT and HMRC processes.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct profitability analysis across business units, products, or projects.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, cost control, and return on investment.
- Owns KPIs (e. g., revenue, margins, cost trends).
- Ensures compliance with reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Requirements
- Professional Experience
- Fully qualified accountant
- Creating statutory accounts
- Experience of managing AP and AR
- Experience of annual audit
- Excel and modelling
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
