The Opportunity
The Product Team at Airtime makes the business more successful by building the right products. It’s a simple description, but it’s the most important thing.
As a Junior Product Manager, you’ll work closely with our experienced Product Leads, focusing on near-term execution while learning the craft of product management. You’ll be supported with clear guardrails to deliver successful features, but also trusted with the freedom to make independent decisions.
You’ll spend your time partnering with Product people, Engineers, Designers, Marketeers and stakeholders from all over the business – all with the goal of delivering successful products.
You’ll need to be an excellent listener, communicator and bring passion for the craft. In return, you’ll quickly build invaluable product skills.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Building a deep understanding of planned features/products, then ensuring accurate execution in partnership with various departments throughout the Business
- Represent the team appropriately in stand-ups, refinement sessions and other day-to-day squad ceremonies
- Writing epics, stories and tickets for your squad(s) to deliver effectively
- Immerse yourself in data and customer feedback to build a picture of our biggest opportunities and problem areas
- Support in the creation of PRDs and AI Prototypes for upcoming features
- Managing the event and deep-link setup for planned features, ensuring accuracy and full coverage
- Join and contribute to weekly Product Team meetings, sharing ideas, feedback and critique
- Spending time with members of the team in a mentee capacity, learning and growing in your craft
- Build great relationships with Marketing, Design, Engineering and other stakeholders around the business
- Build an appreciation of product-sense, UX and the basics of our relevant technologies
- Partner with Designers to critique and evolve UI design to ensure Product goals are met
- Arrange surveys, member interviews and usability testing for features. Either in a direct ownership capacity, or in partnership with other team members
- Organise day-to-day product execution across one, or multiple squads depending on workload and priorities – regularly sharing status with a Product Lead
