Reporting to: Airtech Contracts Manager
Location: Office Crawley. This is a remote based role and will be responsible for Field Engineers, Surveyors, and Mould Washer (10) based in the North and Midlands region.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm.

Job Profile:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Operations Manager (North) to oversee operations in the field and ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for attracting, mentoring, and retaining field-based engineers, who balance electrical expertise and a practical skillset, ensuring we provide the best speed and standards of customer service.
This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and safety while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage field ventilation engineers teams to ensure successful project execution, ensuring:
- Safety
- Productivity
- Installation Quality
- Customer / Multi- Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Offer Electrical Support and expertise to all stakeholders
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Delivery of works in compliance with the agreed specification and within the agreed timescales
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering their professional development.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on project status.
- Implement best practices for operational efficiency and quality control.
- Prepare reports on project performance, including metrics related to productivity and safety.
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience managing a Field Based Team
- 5 years Electrical experience
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements and Electrical Safe Systems of Work
- Qualified to 18th Edition wiring regulations with C&G 5357 Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification and AM2 or equivalent.
- Recent Qualified Supervisor (QS) experience
- Ventilation knowledge/ experience
- First Aid in the Workplace
- Good Geographic knowledge of the UK
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Basic DBS Check
- Current Manual UK Driving Licence
