Salary: £63,576 + £3,967 Shift Pay

Purpose of the Role

We are always interested in hearing from people looking to become Licensed Engineers. We have positions in both Line and Base Maintenance, allowing you to perform Aircraft Maintenance tasks in accordance with company quality and regulatory airworthiness standards, working in conjunction with the Shift Manager to ensure that the operational service meets all customer contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
• Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks within their scope of approval and under the authority of the company Quality Manager
• Ensure all technical staff under supervision perform duties safely and correctly, following relevant documentation
• Manage documentation for aircraft under control, ensuring certification entries are accurate and timely
• Discuss technical issues and upcoming scheduled inputs with Maintrol
• Ensure H&S requirements are met and adhered to at all times
• Promote a culture of open reporting and safety among staff
• Provide leadership to foster a strong safety culture

The Individual

Essential qualifications & experience at recruitment:

• Experience on commercial or military aircraft
• B1 or B2 UK CAA License
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Pass a CP2 Colour Vision Test
• One or more Type Ratings (preferably Airbus) on EASA Licence or Military Equivalent
• Experience in a Base maintenance environment
