Please note this is a 12 month FTC. We are seeking a Flight Safety Data Analyst to join our Compliance team, supporting the continued delivery and development of our Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Programme. This is a key safety-critical role, contributing directly to the effectiveness of our Safety Management System and overall operational assurance.

As a Flight Safety Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting safe, compliant and efficient flying operations. By analysing flight data, managing Flight Data Monitoring activity and working closely with flight operations, safety teams and regulatory stakeholders, you will directly contribute to hazard identification, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in operational safety performance.

What you'll be doing
- Support the delivery and continuous development of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) programme in line with company manuals and regulatory requirements.
- Manage flight data replay activity, ensuring performance targets are consistently met.
- Analyse flight data, including reviewing event thresholds and supporting the design of new events.
- Produce accurate and insightful FDM reports to support the Safety Management System, emissions reporting and airworthiness requirements.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive flight data.
- Support flight crew debriefs and FDM Working Group meetings as required.
- Contribute to safety communications, publications and promotional activities.
- Support incident and accident investigations when required.
- Act as deputy for the Lead Flight Safety Data Analyst when necessary.
What you'll bring
- Essential: Demonstrable experience in flight data monitoring and analysis.
- Experience working within an aviation safety environment.
- Proficiency in using a Flight Data Ground Analysis tool.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, report writing and communication skills.
- Understanding of UK CAA Air Operations regulations.
- Experience working with Safety Management Systems.
- Desirable: Experience with Airbus A330 aircraft and associated SOPs.
- Safety investigation and interview skills.
