Job Description
- Provide total supervisory oversight for multiple teams of Aircraft Maintenance staff as allocated by the Shift Manager.
- Engage in all facets of the role in line with the requirements of ATrS SMS, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems to ensure safe and efficient outcomes.
- Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks within the scope of authorization and under the authority of the Quality Department.
- Ensure all technical staff under supervision perform their duties safely and correctly in accordance with approved documentation.
- Maintain direct control of documentation for aircraft under supervision, ensuring all required certification entries are promptly and correctly recorded.
- Oversee and direct technical issues and schedules in collaboration with Technical Services and Planning Engineers.
- Drive the timely ordering and delivery of materials in coordination with the Material Planning Department.
- Act as the point of contact for all safety and disciplinary matters.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- CAA B1 or B2 & C license with A330 Type Rating and company authorization.
- Proven ability to deliver and certify maintenance in a Base Maintenance facility.
- Understanding of the demands of controlling and directing teams within a Zonal working structure.
- Experience in taking complete ownership to drive delivery of objectives within timescales.
- Proficiency in operating industry-standard data sets related to technical information and man-hour recording.
- Insight and oversight experience with structural repair and modification demands.
- Experience in facilitating functions with internal and external agencies.
- Understanding of planning tools, methods, and procedures.
- Awareness of and exposure to the responsibilities of Part CAMO and Part 145 during Base Maintenance inputs.
