We are looking for an experienced aviation professional to join our Fleet Engineering function as a Maintenance Programme & Reliability Coordinator. This is a key role within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving our Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) while ensuring that reliability insights drive operational excellence.

As a Maintenance Programme & Reliability Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, compliant, and mission-ready. By developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Aircraft Maintenance Programme—and turning reliability data into meaningful insight—you will help keep our aircraft operating at peak performance so AirTanker can deliver when it matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, compile, and maintain the Aircraft Maintenance Programme using data from Airbus DS and the CAA.
  • Coordinate AMP reviews and ensure regulatory acceptance within required timescales.
  • Generate AMP Technical Requests (TRs) for changes outside of normal revision cycles.
  • Review and incorporate mandatory requirements and changes to ALS documentation.
  • Manage the AMP within GCIS to support accurate maintenance forecasting.
  • Ensure smooth transition of aircraft between AMP revisions without impacting availability.
  • Analyse defect and reliability trends to recommend programme improvements.
  • Collate and assess operational feedback, feeding insights to the Engineering Technical Services & Support Manager.
  • Maintain strong communication links across engineering, operations, and planning teams.
  • Attend Maintenance Planning meetings to present and discuss reliability data.
  • Record and escalate deviations from the AMP.
  • Support with MOCs, root cause analysis, and safety management activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Programmes environment, ideally with civil aircraft types.
  • Strong understanding of trend monitoring and reliability data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-skilled engineering environment.
  • Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies and external service providers.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, engineering procedures, and aircraft programme management systems.
  • Experience with complex IT systems used for maintenance planning and programme control.
  • Maintenance Planning or Manufacturer Maintenance Programme Improvement qualifications (desirable).
