We are looking for a Duty Operations Coordinator to support the safe and efficient delivery of our flying programme. You will play a key role within the Operations Control Centre (OCC), coordinating operational activity, managing real‑time challenges, and ensuring all elements of the programme run smoothly and compliantly. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will support commercial and core flying operations, providing critical oversight and coordination across a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment. You will ensure all activity aligns with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while delivering a responsive and resilient operation.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Duty Operations Manager with delivery of the flying programme within the operational window
- Act as the primary OCC lead for charter and ACMI operations, including short notice and out‑of‑hours requests
- Coordinate operational activities across multiple departments to ensure seamless delivery
- Provide flight planning support, including performance calculations and ETOPS considerations
- Produce and deliver accurate flight briefing documentation within required timescales
- Monitor live operations using flight tracking systems, including ATC updates and airport slot management
- Identify and respond to operational risks such as weather, industrial action, or airport disruption
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams, external agencies, and customers
- Provide updates to customers on operational performance and any disruption
- Record significant events and changes to the flying programme
- Support development and training of Operations Controllers through coaching and mentoring
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and operational efficiency
What you’ll bring:
- Experience within an airline Operations Control Centre or similar environment
- Strong capability in time‑critical and live operational decision‑making
- Experience supporting charter and commercial flying operations
- Knowledge of flight planning and aircraft performance
- Familiarity with operational systems and strong MS Office skills
- Understanding of emergency and incident response procedures
- Awareness of Flight Time Limitations (desirable)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly and work independently
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
