About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Clerk to support small projects within the company. This role involves a mix of office administration, document control, material management, and cost control administration, ensuring the smooth operation of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Administration:
- Manage weekly timesheets from site for payroll purposes.
- Provide ad hoc assistance to maintain an efficient office environment.
- Oversee stationery and office equipment procurement.
- Coordinate with the HR department for onboarding site personnel.
- Handle client communications, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Document Control:
- Deliver comprehensive administrative and document control services.
- Participate in HSEQ audits for ISO compliance.
- Compile test packs and handover documentation in collaboration with QAQC.
- Update and maintain drawing registers.
- Material Management & Purchasing:
- Obtain supplier quotations and process material requisitions.
- Manage delivery dockets and complete Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
- Oversee office equipment and stationery purchases.
- Maintain the site Plant and Tool Register (Asset Register).
- Commercial & Cost Control Administration:
- Record man-hours and compile data for the Commercial team.
- Maintain records of labour and material costs.
- Assist with data input for site measures and reports.
- Accurately update and maintain records, databases, and spreadsheets.
- File daily and weekly reports.
