Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate cost reports in line with contractual and client requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of cost control for allocated packages of work, including budgets, commitments, VOWD accrual generation, and forecasts for labor, sub-contract, and procurement costs.
  • Communicate cost data effectively with stakeholders.
  • Provide input and review Project Controls procedures such as invoicing, budget and cost control, and change order procedures to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare monthly internal cost reporting, including financial statements for management.
  • Communicate month-end results with clients and management.
  • Oversee all cost aspects of project close-out and benchmarking.
  • Promote good working relationships within Project Controls Teams and other project departments.
  • Commit to and promote company values, ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental, quality, and ethics policies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Cost Analysis: Proven experience in cost control and reporting techniques.
  • Budgeting: Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
  • Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with contract terms related to costs, payments, penalties, insurances, guarantees, and physical progress measurement systems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex cost data to various stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience in fostering good working relationships within teams.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous industry cost control experience is essential.
