PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Location: Leatherhead, UK Contract duration: initial 12-month contract – renewable Start Date: ASAP Project: LNG We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer for a long-term contract role. The position requires full-time office attendance and offers an opportunity to work on LNG FEED projects. The role is a contract position with an initial 12-month period with the possibility for renewal, the contract is inside IR35 on a PAYE basis. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for voltages up to 132kV, including overhead lines and reactive power compensation. Develop designs for electrical distribution systems, grid interfacing, protection requirements, and brownfield modifications. Work on conceptual, pre-FEED, study, or FEED phases for gas processing or LNG projects. Requirements: Minimum 12 years’ experience in engineering consultancy, machinery manufacturing, or end-user environments. Strong background in gas processing or LNG projects.
