Key Responsibilities
- Operate generation and transmission assets in accordance with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage SCADA systems in a real-time operational environment.
- Support alarm handling, incident response, and loss of generation/control events.
- Perform control room activities related to active power, frequency, voltage, and reactive power control.
- Experience operating SCADA systems within a live operational environment.
- Background in power generation, transmission, utilities, electrical operations, control room operations, or operational engineering.
Desirable Experience
- Power generation or transmission control room experience.
- High-voltage control or switching experience.
- Authorised Person (AP) or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) experience.
- Electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, HNC, or Degree.
