The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Analyst Midstream to be placed in London, UK on a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. The main functions are supporting all administration and payroll activities for all eligible local and expatriate staff for our trading business based in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review payroll instructions and outputs for both expats and local employees – approximately 210 people
- Maintain UK Payroll System and HR system updates in Oracle
- Resolve basic pay-related queries/discrepancies from staff
- Provide monthly costing reports to the Finance department
- Prepare monthly overtime reports and statutory Maternity Pay schedules
- Review employee expense claims for compliance with company policy
- Provide general administrative support to Line Manager as required
- Prepare statutory payment reports and payment requests
- Record and provide details of benefits in kind for tax purposes
- Assist in providing information for Expatriate Tax returns
- Assist with annual reconciliation and returns
- Assist with pension contribution files
- Assist with reporting and audits
- File documents related to taxable and non-taxable pay in payroll on a monthly basis
- Participate in special projects as requested
Skills / Qualifications
- Proven experience in coordinating and managing payroll within a similar-sized organization
- Strong knowledge of UK legislation surrounding payroll activities
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent attention to detail
