Airswift is supporting a leading client with in the Offshore wind industry and supporting them with a search for a Hook-Up Manager.
We are seeking an experienced Hook-Up Manager to lead the offshore hook-up phase of Offshore Substation project. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution of hook-up activities, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and contractual requirements while delivering the project within budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Hook-Up Execution Plan, estimating resource, equipment, and logistics requirements at the tender stage.
- Ensure engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams integrate hook-up needs into project planning.
- Manage and coordinate offshore hook-up activities, ensuring a smooth transition to commissioning and final project acceptance.
- Act as the primary interface with clients, subcontractors, and partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Oversee progress tracking, schedule adherence, and cost control, supporting project management in variation assessments.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality best practices, implementing risk management strategies.
- Lead the offshore hook-up team, ensuring efficient execution and problem resolution.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine) or related field.
- Extensive experience in offshore construction, hook-up, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of HV substations, fabrication, transport & installation (T&I), and commissioning.
