The predicted salary is between 40500 - 49500 £ per year.

We are currently seeking a experienced NDT Inspector to support subsea pipeline fabrication activities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring welding and inspection activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

Role would be based on 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotation.

Quick start is required for this role - 27th August Mobilisation

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in NDT inspection within the offshore oil & gas, pipeline, or marine construction sectors.
  • Extensive experience in Automated Ultrasonic Testing, including weld examination and interpretation of subsea pipeline girth welds.
  • Strong background in welding inspection, with a solid understanding of SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
  • Fully conversant with the requirements of DNV-ST-F101 and their application to pipeline fabrication and inspection activities.
  • Excellent understanding of QA/QC procedures, welding standards, and fabrication processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with project, quality, and fabrication teams.

Experience

  • Proven track record supporting subsea pipeline fabrication projects from a quality and inspection perspective.
  • Extensive hands-on experience reviewing and interpreting AUT data for pipeline weld acceptance.
  • Experience using Pipe Wizard AUT systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with advanced AUT technologies and industry-recognised inspection methods.
  • Experience reviewing inspection reports, welding records, NDT documentation, and supporting quality assurance activities throughout fabrication.
  • Previous involvement in offshore pipeline, spoolbase, or large-scale EPC projects would be highly advantageous.
