Are you passionate about mechanical systems and eager to ensure the safety and efficiency of industrial equipment? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Technician to support our operations team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in providing expert maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of plant and hydraulic machinery, ensuring optimal performance in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to the seamless operation of our facilities, making a real difference every day.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment
- Experience with pneumatic tooling and general plant maintenance
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and reporting
- Full valid driver’s license
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Cengar, Atlas Copco, Universal Tools, and Chicago Pneumatic tools
- Diesel motor training and service experience
- Enerpac training and service expertise
- Prior mechanical equipment working knowledge
Education and Experience
- Technical Apprenticeship or equivalent certification
- Relevant experience in plant and equipment maintenance, especially with hydraulic and mechanical systems
Other Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work on-site, support multiple depots, and undertake site-specific procedures
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including on-site visits and site-specific requirements
- Commitment to safety protocols and environmental policies
