The Finance Relationship Manager will manage the Qatar portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for all finance‑related matters for key clients. The role owns the end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash process, working closely with clients and internal account managers. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, managing pre‑invoice approvals, driving proactive debt collection to improve DSO, and supporting payroll quality control. The role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration and effective relationship management with internal teams and international project stakeholders.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Client Relationship & Focal Point Ownership: Serve as the main finance point of contact for Qatar‑based clients, handling all queries professionally and liaising with internal departments to resolve issues promptly. Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure all issues are corrected at source and communicate resolutions clearly to clients. Help establish best practice across teams when interacting with Qatar clients.
  • Debt Collection, Reporting & DSO Improvement: Follow up regularly with clients to accelerate invoice approval and payment cycles. Prepare weekly and monthly debtor reports, including commentary as required. Produce 13‑week cash receipts forecasts and analyse cash variances for key accounts. Work with sales and senior management as needed to support the collection process. Contribute to company growth through improved DSO performance.
  • Invoicing, SES Management & Quality Control: Ensure all invoices are submitted accurately, on time, and with the correct backup documentation. Manage the SES / pre‑invoice approval process, including follow‑ups to secure timely approvals. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date logs of all invoices, approvals, and submissions to ensure nothing is overlooked. Drive improvements in invoice acceptance rates through proactive quality control and issue resolution.
  • Payroll Input Review & Administrative Quality Checks: Conduct quality checks on payroll‑related inputs to ensure all documents are present and correctly entered. Collaborate with payroll teams to confirm data accuracy prior to billing. Support the wider collections function with additional tasks when required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

This role is varied, demanding, and requires someone who is well organised to meet deadlines. It will suit someone who is self‑motivated, likes problem solving and has good communication skills.

  • 3+ years’ experience in order-to-cash roles (Accounts Receivable, Billing or Credit Control)
  • Quality Control experience is preferred.
  • Experience with process improvements and quality control.
  • Strong accounting reconciliation and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Experience with Access: Pay and Bill (Tempest) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Highly organised with ability to meet deadlines.
