We’re looking for Reporting Engineers to design and deliver data-driven reporting solutions that turn complex project data into actionable insights within a Project Controls environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain reporting systems, databases, and dashboards
- Analyse complex datasets to produce clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Develop visualisations using Power BI and other reporting tools
- Create project control outputs such as Gantt charts, S-curves, and manpower histograms
- Collaborate with engineering, PMO, and data teams to define reporting requirements
- Optimise reporting solutions for performance, accuracy, and usability
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to reporting systems
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong Power BI expertise and advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience in Project Controls / PMO environments (Energy sector preferred)
- Ability to develop dashboards, visualisations, and reporting frameworks
- Solid understanding of baseline management and project reporting metrics
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, or similar platforms
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience across Oil & Gas, Nuclear, or Renewables
- UK Security Clearance (or eligibility)
