Position Overview

Provide engineering design and coordination services for mechanical rotating equipment in a major oil and gas project setting. Covers gas processing, oil separation, and related infrastructure facilities. Requires significant field or project management experience with emphasis on international major projects within the oil and gas industry, utilities, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, review, assess, and manage scope of works of allocated FEED/EPC packages under delegated supervision.
  • Guide contractors in developing scope of works defined in Work Entity Releases.
  • Review vendor documentation and technical bids for rotating equipment.
  • Review design drawings and data sheets for rotating and auxiliary equipment.
  • Manage technical workshare for mechanical drawings.
  • Provide technical support to project management and engage on specialty services relating to the discipline.
  • Ensure equipment meets relevant international and project standards.
  • Understand the scope of supply and help identify and avoid changes.
  • Perform risk management for equipment purchase orders and provide mitigation plans.
  • Support change orders by coordinating with procurement and providing documentation.
  • Manage equipment delivery schedules and coordinate with vendors to meet project timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must hold eligibility to work in the UK (passport or visa) – sponsorship not provided.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline.
  • Substantial Oil and Gas industry experience on petrochemical projects.
  • Middle East project experience preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant standards and procedures, as well as International standards.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
