We’re seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to support a major onshore oil & gas project. You’ll lead electrical engineering scope through design and delivery, interfacing across disciplines and ensuring safe, compliant execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering deliverables across the project lifecycle (FEED/detail design/execution as applicable)
- Own technical assurance for electrical design packages (specs, datasheets, studies, calculations, layouts)
- Coordinate with multidiscipline engineering and project stakeholders to manage interfaces and priorities
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety requirements, and project procedures
- Support reviews, vendor coordination, and technical queries through to completion
Required experience
- Proven experience in electrical engineering within oil & gas / energy projects (onshore preferred)
- Strong leadership capability (package ownership, checking/review, stakeholder management)
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes/standards (project-dependent)
- Ability to work on-site in Leatherhead and collaborate with a fast-paced project team
