Role Synopsis: Currently responsible for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants. We are looking for a Construction Engineer who will be responsible for the management of the construction works of large tanks and containers for a Green Hydrogen Project.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prioritise and enforce safety protocols and practices throughout the project to minimise risk and ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure construction works meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Accountable for safe, compliant delivery of the designed activities and steps within the construction/commissioning procedures defined as per the quality expectations of the project.
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure that the works meet technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress, tracking milestones and addressing any delays or deviations from the schedule to ensure timely project completion.
- Support Construction Manager for budgets for subcontracted works, establish the construction budget & progress control and reporting.
Education / Experience:
- HNC / HND or equivalent in Engineering such as Civil, Mechanical or E&I.
- 5+ years of working in Construction & Commissioning roles.
Essential Experience:
- A strong track record in project delivery or in supporting complex project management involving Civil Works, Steel Structures, Piping, Reinforced Concrete, Tanks.
- An understanding of the standards and protocols of the industry.
- An understanding of industry standards.
Desirable Experience:
- Cryogenic Tanks.
- Major Infrastructure or industrial project experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in mid to large scale engineering projects.
