We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers (both contract & permanent) and a Lead Civil Engineer (permanent) to support a long‑term infrastructure project in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Deliver civil and structural design across RIBA stages (primarily 0–2)
- Support refurbishment, infrastructure upgrades and new-build developments
- Carry out site investigations, condition surveys and reporting
- Work on modifications to existing assets, including listed structures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders and statutory authorities
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and operational standards
(Lead Civil Engineer Responsibilities):
- Provide technical oversight and leadership across multiple projects
- Lead engineering input across RIBA stages (0–5 preferred)
- Manage stakeholder engagement and design coordination
- Support project delivery strategy and ensure engineering quality and compliance
Requirements:
- Background in civil or structural engineering
- Experience within regulated industries (e.g. nuclear, defence, marine, infrastructure, oil & gas)
- Strong understanding of RIBA project stages
- Experience with Revit and/or BIM Level 2 project delivery
(Additional for Lead role):
- Proven experience leading engineering delivery and design teams
- Strong stakeholder management and technical oversight capability
