Join a dynamic team as a Control Room Operator in the energy sector, where your operational expertise will play a crucial role in managing pipeline integrity and ensuring efficient gas and oil dispatching.
Role Overview- Monitor the integrity and safety of inter-field and intra-field pipelines.
- Coordinate and report oil and gas exports from various installations.
- Optimize throughput to maximize company profitability.
- Ensure quality specifications of oil and gas exports.
- Dispatch nominated sales gas to shippers daily.
- Monitor gas sales quality to National Grid Gas infrastructure.
- Coordinate shutdown and maintenance activities.
- Act as the initial contact for pipeline and medical emergencies.
- Provide out-of-hours cover for Northern and Southern Logistics.
- Operator Background: Experience in operations, preferably in onshore pipelines.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Emergency Response: Ability to react calmly and efficiently during emergencies.
- Knowledge of Process Book: Familiarity with monitoring alarms and data.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Control Room Operator is preferred.
- Competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience.
- Initial contract duration until August 2026 with potential for extension.
- Shift pattern includes 7 x Night Shift, 1 day off, followed by 7 x Day Shift, followed by 20 days off. 12 hours per day, Monday-Sunday.
