This opportunity sits within a major energy and infrastructure project environment focused on decommissioning and carbon capture and storage, supporting complex onshore construction delivery. The role is centred on subcontract administration, change management and forecast analysis, with responsibility for managing commercial and technical interfaces across Mechanical Work, Buildings, and E&I works. This position offers the chance to contribute to technically demanding project activity within the oil and gas and energy sectors while supporting delivery on a high-profile construction programme.
Required Experience:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors
- Experience on large construction projects
- Onshore project experience
- Experience managing subcontractor performance, variations, claims and commercial impacts on project programmes and forecasts
Required Skills:
- Strong subcontract administration and subcontract management capability
- Ability to review and validate subcontractor progress payments
- Capability to identify, assess and support management of variations and claims affecting cost and schedule
- Ability to analyse Site Technical Queries, Site Instructions and Deviation Requests to determine cost impact and support commercial alignment
- Change management and forecast analysis skills
- Ability to monitor coherence between physical progress and economic progress
- Experience supporting work progress, new prices and order changes documentation processes
Required Certifications:
- OEUK Offshore Medical
Preferred Qualifications:
- Offshore experience in addition to onshore experience
