The client wants a senior pensions data specialist who can run complex DB pension projects end-to-end, especially system upgrades and data migrations. The key is deep experience with pension admin platforms (ideally Compendia), strong data handling, and the ability to fix/optimise large, messy datasets.
- Deliver end-to-end pension projects, including system upgrades, data migrations, and process improvements.
- Oversee and enhance pension administration platforms (e.g. Compendia) ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors, internal IT teams, and data governance stakeholders.
- Lead data-focused activities such as actuarial valuation extracts, GMP equalisation, and pension dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with UK pension legislation, reporting requirements, and governance standards.
- Analyse large datasets, improving data quality, validation processes, and reporting accuracy.
- Strong experience in UK defined benefit pensions.
- Proven background in pension administration systems.
- Expertise in data management, data quality, and large dataset handling.
- Knowledge of pensions legislation and regulatory compliance.
- Experience delivering IT system upgrades or transformation projects.
- PMI, CPC or equivalent pension qualifications.
- Experience with data governance frameworks or information risk management (IRM).
- Exposure to pension dashboards or digital transformation initiatives.
