Location: UK Hybrid – Manchester or Aberdeen

Working Pattern: Monday–Friday 40 hours week

We are seeking a Graduate Sales Support Associate to support sales and commercial activities within an engineering and procurement environment. This role is focused on sales back‑office support, offer preparation, and commercial administration, working closely with a senior team member.

The position offers strong exposure to sales, contracts, logistics, and client interaction, with structured training and clear development potential within a growing international business. The aim for this position is to develop into a Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate commercial offers, proposals, documentation, and client clarifications
  • Support sales and business development activities prior to contract award
  • Maintain sales administration through ERP/CRM systems, acting as sales back‑office support
  • Coordinate internally with sales, contracts, logistics, and delivery teams
  • Support marketing and promotion of company products and services
  • Coordinate logistics, transportation, and customs documentation with freight forwarders
  • Support technical and financial close‑out of orders
  • Travel within the EU and internationally as required

Requirements

  • Junior professional / Graduate with interest in sales, business development, or commercial roles
  • Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering preferred; Business or Marketing also considered
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, comfortable in an international working environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently while supporting a wider commercial team
