Primary focus: set up and manage all new time‑sensitive orders, provide proactive updates to customers, and track order status from start to finish.
Importance of Role
The operations team is the backbone of the company, handling front‑line communication with customers, commanders, and service providers while maintaining high attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Independently resolve all escalated issues using provided resources with minimal to no assistance.
- Assist in resolving team member escalations and questions.
- Understand margin vs total cost for an order and apply knowledge to additional charge approvals.
- Expert on all international regulations, import, and export requirements.
- Make balanced decisions for customers, balancing service with customer margins, speed, cost, and impact without defaulting to escalations.
- Choose airline based on service agreement and error rate over fastest or cheapest option.
- Maintain minimal to no errors and service failures.
- Make educated decisions under pressure.
- Anticipate problems before they surface and act early.
- Hold and maintain Dangerous Goods certification; remain knowledgeable on all Dangerous Goods requirements.
- Assist in resolving team member inquiries for DG flagged orders.
- Seek knowledge of additional sector processes.
- Provide SOP guidance in consultation with leadership.
- Uphold team expectations by leading by example.

Compensation
£48,000 – £61,000 annual salary.
