Job Purpose:
The Facilities Buildings Supervisor oversees all DataCenter Client London Data Centre buildings, ensuring operational excellence across the campus. This includes managing building fabric, office spaces, subcontractors, and compliance with industry standards and legislation. The role focuses on continuous improvement and effective project management for building maintenance and enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance and enhancements of building fabric and grounds.
- Lead projects for building maintenance, including RAMS, permits, and sign-off.
- Ensure compliance with various regulations (e.g., water, fire safety, HSE, noise, waste, etc.).
- Collaborate with Risk & Compliance to ensure adherence to legislation.
- Oversee subcontractors and manage health & safety for building-related works.
- Support audits and track incidents, complaints, and non-conformities.
- Manage office spaces, including stationery, coffee machines, and vending services.
- Track building assets via the CAFM system and ensure ongoing maintenance.
- Complete building checks and maintain a clean, presentable front-of-house environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental Protection, and various ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Experience in building management, service delivery, and managing teams. PC literacy and strong reporting skills. Knowledge of compliance standards and statutory requirements.
- Desirable: Experience in a Critical Environment and familiarity with ISO-regulated processes.
