Purpose of the Role
As a Telco Business Development Executive, you\’ll drive growth by identifying and securing opportunities in Managed Network Services, SD-WAN, WAN, and Telecommunication Managed Services.
Candidate Profile
- Location: London
- Languages: Fluent in English and French essential; additional language proficiency (Dutch/Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Scandinavian) advantageous
- Experience: Background in IT sector preferable; keen interest in telecommunications industry
Key Responsibilities
- Market Knowledge: Maintain in-depth awareness of the assigned market, competitors, and industry trends in connectivity services.
- Client Profiling: Research multinational corporations (MNCs) to understand their networking and telecommunication needs.
- Client Acquisition: Utilize proactive outreach strategies (cold calling, LinkedIn, emails) to acquire new clients.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate activity records in CRM (HubSpot).
- Business Opportunities: Assist Business/Channel Manager in identifying and capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
Experience Required
- Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Strategic Research: Approach market research strategically, particularly in connectivity services.
- Tech Proficiency: Profound knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Industry Interest: Genuine interest in telecommunications; IT sector experience a plus.
- Collaborative Skills: Ability to work harmoniously within a team-focused culture.
