Tasks
- Safely operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and functionality.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Conditions to rent a vehicle: to work on commission (pay 43% commission to the company); Driver will take full responsibility of the vehicle; Driver to attend the MIDAS training and also cover any wheelchair accessible work we have with the local authorities.
- In order to start you will need the following documents: Passport / ID copy; ENHANCED CRB / DBS check not older than 3 years; NINO; UTR Number; Driving Licence with no more than 6 points; London PCO Licence; Proof of address; MIDAS or Safeguarding Training Certificate (training will be provided if you don’t have it).
