The VP, Global Brand & Marketing is a 12 month fixed term contract. As we scale, our marketing function brings together specialist expertise (across PR, brand, digital and content) with strong regional activation across North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. This role drives how we amplify our brand and business with both B2C and B2B audiences.
You’ll join a lean, collaborative, and impact-driven team, where initiative is valued and influence is critical. This is an ideal role for a senior communications leader who thrives in high-growth environments, understands the interplay between brand and commercial success, and can build trust and momentum across a global stakeholder network.
Reporting directly to the Global Chief Operating Officer and sitting as part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will be responsible for shaping and delivering an impactful marketing strategy that supports core business objectives. Empowered to make a difference, this role requires a hands-on leader who can provide guidance, guardrails, and active mentorship to an established team, helping them to perform at their best both individually and collectively.
With the business at an exciting phase of transformation, this position will be instrumental in defining how we use communications to engage, inform, and inspire key audiences while protecting and building our market-leading reputation.
Key responsibilities- Set a clear and actionable global marketing strategy that supports both commercial goals and long-term brand value.
- Lead the development and management of brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market strategy across our growing portfolio of brands.
- Shape the external communications approach to build credibility with airport partners, clients, and the travel industry.
- Align global and regional marketing plans to key business priorities including lounge launches, product innovation, and market growth.
- Ensure each brand has clear guest propositions and messaging tailored to its audience and market context.
- Create simple, effective toolkits and processes that help regions deliver consistent and high-performing marketing campaigns.
- Connect global and regional teams across marketing, product, and commercial to ensure smooth execution and shared accountability—particularly around launches and RFPs.
- Support and coach marketing team members, helping them build confidence, clarity, and collaboration in their roles.
- Promote a culture of data-led decisions, creativity, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Track and report on marketing performance, covering both commercial impact and brand impact.
- Be a senior partner to global commercial and agency teams, ensuring marketing plans deliver clear value.
- Oversee incident and issues communications to ensure the brand is protected and well represented during periods of risk.
- Represent marketing at senior leadership level, sharing updates, insights, and recommendations that inform wider business decision-making.
- Proven experience in a senior global marketing leadership role within travel, hospitality, or customer experience-led industries is essential.
- Confident shaping and delivering brand and communications strategy, with the ability to adapt plans to meet evolving business needs during a fast-paced, fixed-term role.
- Strong track record in leading integrated marketing across B2B and B2C audiences, with experience in content, brand, PR, and digital activation.
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment, collaborating across regions and functions.
- Skilled at engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite, agency partners, and regional leadership.
- Persuasive communication skills, capable of establishing yourself as the lead subject matter expert.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; confident contributor at leadership and cross-functional meetings.
- Able to coach and support team members while also being hands-on and delivery-focused when required.
- Highly organised, commercially aware, and confident managing multiple priorities, channels and deliverables at pace.
