The Customisation and Development team is responsible for the on time, on cost, on quality delivery of helicopter retrofit projects to the UK MOD, National Police Services, Air Ambulance and VIP customers. The careful management of project tasks is essential to ensuring we meet the expectations of both the business and our customers. The Project Manager role is therefore essential to ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multi-million pound projects in a dynamic and challenging environment.
As a Project Manager for the Customisation and Development team you will be responsible for the delivery of contracts throughout the project life-cycle in accordance with procedures, tools and methodologies. You will also play an important role in developing those procedures for the future. Project Managers report to the PMO Manager and will be supported by the wider PMO team.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful OTOCOQ delivery of multiple projects at any one time and achieving the project objectives to the satisfaction of both the company and the customer.
- Successful management of project risks and opportunities to the benefit of the customisation team.
- Provide strong leadership, professional project management experience and excellent stakeholder management across multiple workstreams contributing to project success.
- Behave as a role model while robustly implementing and developing PMO processes, methodologies and tools.
- Ensuring adherence to Customisation KPI’s for schedule and cost control.
