B1 & B2 Licensed Engineers: Join the World’s Leading Helicopter Service Provider. Our client is the backbone of Britain’s civil helicopter hub. As the MoD's chosen provider for the No.1 Helicopter Flying School (MFTS), they deliver critical maintenance support for missions that save lives and protect communities. We are supporting them to recruit for professional B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to maintain our high standards of safety and operational excellence. These roles are permanent but also open to Limited company contractors with the relevant type ratings.
Location Flexibility: Your Career, Your Base. We are currently recruiting across our three primary UK sites. You can choose a permanent base at one location or opt for a rotating role to support the business across all sites as required:
- London Oxford Airport (Kidlington): Our headquarters and Civil MRO hub.
- RAF Shawbury (Shropshire): Supporting the MFTS fleet.
- RAF Valley (Anglesey): Supporting the MFTS fleet.

- Joining Bonus: To recognize the value of your CAA Part 66 licence and type rating, we are offering a phased signing bonus for eligible new joiners. This incentive is split between your commencement date and your one-year anniversary with the company. The Roles: Both positions are Full-Time (40 hours/week) and report to the MRO Maintenance Manager. You will work on a diverse fleet, including the H125, H130, H135, H145 and H160.
- B1 Licensed Engineer (Mechanical)
- Responsibilities: Certify maintenance, repairs, and inspections on airframe structures, power plants, and mechanical systems.
- Supervision: Oversee maintenance fitters and certify their work.
- Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft) is essential.
- B2 Licensed Engineer (Avionics)
- Responsibilities: Accomplish maintenance inspections and rectifications on electrical and avionics systems.
- Expertise: Use specialised test equipment to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B2 License is preferred.
