Working alongside the Regional Director, you will focus on business growth through the retention of existing clients and a continuous drive to add to the existing client base throughout Europe. Key Responsibilities
- Develop lasting client relationships, including regular face to face contact.
- Much of your activity will be in the Aberdeen region, however there is no “geographical” limit within the UK & European markets for you to develop and grow our customer portfolio.
- Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, managing your own diary.
- Identify & present opportunities relating to new markets, geographies and product applications for appraisal by senior management.
- Foster an environment of good internal communication between Operations, Workshop, Finance & Marketing departments.
What we’re looking for
- 3-5 years’ experience in an external business development role.
- Proven track record in new business development.
- Ability to plan & prepare presentations and submit monthly activity reports.
- Flexibility to travel throughout UK & Europe as required.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills.
- Ability to formulate & implement pursuit plans aimed at new clients, markets, applications & geographies.
