Location: Hampshire Wide

Hours: Day Shifts & Night Shifts, Weekend Shifts available

Pay: £16.00 per hour (via PAYE)

We are seeking Support Workers to provide complex care for children with a range of complex issues, across Gloucestershire. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the life of children working in a supportive, caring environment in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to young children
  • Be proactive with managing activities & sensory play
  • Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means
  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with empathy
  • Must have a calm demeanour and a playful personality
  • Maintain clear and accurate care observation records
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of personal care

Requirements:

  • At least a 1 year’s experience working with Children
  • Proven experience in Paediatric Complex Care
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Airmid care team, MDT and family
  • Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient-focused care
  • Experience with Tracheostomy, PEG/NG Feeding, Ventilators, Deep suctioning (not all essential)
  • Experience with Learning Disabilities & challenging behaviour
