Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Cargo Charter Broker (EMEA), based in the London/Surrey Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for remote work. This is a senior, hands-on role working directly with the founder, supporting day-to-day cargo charter operations while helping to scale the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing charter deals end-to-end, maintaining exceptional service standards, and strengthening relationships with clients and operators.
In addition to broking, the role includes training and mentoring junior/trainee brokers, as well as managing and supporting the Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive commercial growth. The position offers the opportunity to help shape processes, contribute to strategy, and play a key role in the company’s expansion across EMEA.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cargo charter broker (essential)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to source, negotiate, and close deals
- Experience in training, mentoring, or developing junior team members
- Ability to manage and collaborate with business development functions
- Excellent relationship management skills with clients, operators, and logistics partners
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple movements simultaneously
