Airinmar has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales & Business Development to join our team at our Finchampstead site. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position with up to 50% International Travel.
This is a key leadership position with responsibility for driving new business, developing strong customer relationships and supporting the strategic growth of the organisation. We are looking for an accomplished aviation sales professional who combines commercial expertise with strong leadership, relationship management and business development skills.
The Role
As Director of Sales & Business Development, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering new customer sales in line with the annual financial plan.
- Leading customer contracting and renewals.
- Managing the priorities and activities of the Sales & Business Development team.
- Supporting leadership and skills development across the wider organisation.
- Facilitating the successful implementation of new customer accounts.
- Supporting the retention and strategic growth of key accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
- Developing sales and marketing materials, including presentations and website content.
- Acting as Process Owner for the quality management of sales-related processes, procedures and KPIs.
- Providing commercial and sales input into annual financial planning.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a minimum of five years' relevant aviation sales or account management experience.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the aviation aftermarket.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
- Have excellent presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Bring the maturity, self-confidence, stamina and resilience required for a senior commercial role.
